Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Professional to join our team in the Mental Health Needs Assessment Service Coordination service. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing mental health and addictions support needs for individuals aged 18 and over, and referring them to appropriate services to enhance their recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and scope appropriate to place of work
  • Completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in mental health or intellectual disability nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
  • Personal commitment to ongoing learning and development, including attainment/maintenance of PDRP
