About the Role

We are seeking a medically qualified Chemical Pathologist to join our team of three experienced pathologists and a registrar. The successful candidate will be involved in chemical pathology test reporting, validation, and implementation of new tests, mentoring and training of biochemistry scientific staff, and clinical governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • An interest in lipid disorders would be advantageous
  • Experience with specialist testing would be beneficial – e.g., MS/MS testing, toxicology, endocrine
  • Specialist interest and test development encouraged
  • Quality focus
  • Interest in informatics
