Job Description:

The Commodity Procurement Strategist is responsible for the crop protection product portfolio of Exceed Human Resource Consultants and is accountable for procuring products through the development and implementation of effective commodity strategies. This position requires the ability to manage healthy supplier relationships and strategically optimize profit by balancing price, product, logistics, and marketing strategies in coordination with senior management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commodity strategies to optimize profit and drive business growth.
  • Manage and maintain healthy supplier relationships to ensure seamless procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align commodity strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and make informed decisions to minimize costs and maximize returns.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of commodity strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in Procurement and/or Supply with required and relevant managerial experience.
  • 7-10 years' relevant experience within the agricultural industry.
  • 5 years managerial experience.
