We are looking for an exceptional Bakery Professional to join our team at LET'S WORK IN NZ LTD. As a key member of our bakery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality products are consistently delivered to our customers.



Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including baking, icing, and decorating cakes for customer orders, as well as producing other bakery-specific products. This will involve working efficiently to meet daily production targets and adhering to high standards of presentation and display.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Bake and decorate cakes, bread, and other bakery products to meet customer demand and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets and meet customer needs.
  • Merchandise products in a visually appealing manner and ensure effective stock rotation and management.
  • Receive and process incoming goods and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, food safety standards, and compliance procedures at all times.


Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A minimum of 3 years industry experience in a bakery or similar environment.
  • A NZQA Level 3, 4, or 5 baking qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, personal presentation standards, and a strong desire to excel in your role.
  • Flexibility to work non-rostered shifts, including weekends and holidays.
