**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Army projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a programme of projects focused on operational equipment.
**Key Accountabilities:**
- Develop and maintain project artefacts and documentation in accordance with Capability Management Framework processes and PRINCE2 best practices.
- Ensure projects produce required capabilities within specified time, cost, quality, scope, and risk.
- Achieve benefits defined in relevant business cases for each stage.
- Engage regularly with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Manage acquisition of required project products and deliverables in line with NZDF policies.
- Lead project team members to ensure they are engaged and productive.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project management, preferably with a background in the defence sector. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Desirable Skills:**
- Experience working with PRINCE2 methodology.
- Knowledge of defence-specific project management frameworks.
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
