**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Army projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a programme of projects focused on operational equipment.

**Key Accountabilities:**

  1. Develop and maintain project artefacts and documentation in accordance with Capability Management Framework processes and PRINCE2 best practices.
  2. Ensure projects produce required capabilities within specified time, cost, quality, scope, and risk.
  3. Achieve benefits defined in relevant business cases for each stage.
  4. Engage regularly with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  5. Manage acquisition of required project products and deliverables in line with NZDF policies.
  6. Lead project team members to ensure they are engaged and productive.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project management, preferably with a background in the defence sector. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable Skills:**

  • Experience working with PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Knowledge of defence-specific project management frameworks.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
