Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Urology Department Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Head of Department (HOD) and clinicians, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication within the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HOD's calendar, coordinating meetings and disseminating information internally and externally.
  • Provide administrative support, including leave & on-call roster, claims/honorarium, training records, onboarding for clinicians, and point of contact for clinical fellows and visiting consultants.
  • Assist HOD and clinicians in travel conference logistics, whenever necessary.
  • Maintain department fund expenditure, clinical training funds, and staff funds.
  • Point of contact for asset management, IT asset, and procurement matters for the department.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or related qualification preferred.
  • At least two years' working experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Good coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with a 'can-do' attitude and ability to work independently.
