Job Description

The AHP Head (Plans & Professional Development) plays a crucial role in steering clinical standards and practice guidelines for AHP service delivery. This individual oversees clinical innovation, leads the development of new clinical services and programmes, and uplifts professional practices through leadership and professional development initiatives.

Responsibilities
  1. Build professional partnerships and collaborations with organisations and ministries to advance professional practice and clinical services.
  2. Provide consultancy and specialist expertise to other organisations, relevant professionals, and at national or international projects and conferences.
  3. Drive client care and service excellence by implementing evidence-based practices that align with emerging trends in specialty areas of clinical services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech & Language Therapy recognised by the relevant local professional associations.
  • Post-Graduate qualifications in relevant field of clinical specialisation.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in AHP clinical practice.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AHP clinical supervision.
