This role reports to the Head of Customer Experience and plays a crucial part in maintaining office services by organizing operations and procedures, managing accounting systems, preparing payroll, designing internal systems, and completing administrative tasks.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Answering and directing phone calls, providing excellent client services and support to administration staff.
  • Administering accounting systems, including Xero and Netsuite, documenting processes and systems as necessary.
  • Maintaining records on accounts payable and receivable, making direct contact with overdue accounts when required.
  • Reconciling bank accounts, resolving issues in processes, and preparing monthly reports for management.
  • Preparing taxes and filing documents, ensuring efficient client services and supporting administration staff.
  • Assisting accountants, preparing financial data and reports, and coordinating with management to recommend improvements in accounting quality and operational support.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in completing accounts through to trial balance, preferably using a large ERP system like Netsuite.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and multitask in a high-paced environment.
  • Numerical competence and flexibility to work with change.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers, brokers, and other finance companies.
