We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Stokeswood Rest Home in Lower Hutt. As a Caregiver, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management to deliver person-first care to our residents.
The ideal candidate will have a NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 3-4 and a minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care. You will be passionate about enriching the lives of the elderly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities while treating residents with respect and dignity.
* Assist with mobility and maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
* Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities and contribute to creating a positive and safe home environment.
* Develop deeper relationships with residents and their families by delivering high-quality person-first care.
