">Our Role
">We are seeking an experienced Activities Coordinator/Diversional Therapist to join our team at St. Johns Hill Lifecare. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering activities that cater to the physical, cognitive, social, spiritual, and emotional needs of our residents. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care and support.
">Your Skills and Experience
">- Previous experience as a Diversional Therapist within dementia care is essential.
- A passion for caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
- National Certificate in Diversional Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Full NZ drivers' licence, and confidence in driving a van.
- A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
