This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Australasia's fastest-growing startup as our Group Accountant in the Finance team. As one of our early team members, you'll have a tangible impact on Tracksuit's culture and trajectory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices using our tech stack to optimize efficiency in financial operations.
  • Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: Own the end-to-end month-end process for multiple entities (NZ, AU, US, UK), ensuring timely preparation of management reports and providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage the accounts process, entering and managing bills in Xero, submitting these for approval, preparing and prioritizing payment runs to ensure adherence to payment terms, and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Payroll: Manage payroll processes across multiple entities using i Payroll, Cloud Payroll, and Insperity, ensuring timely and accurate payroll calculations, including bonuses and deductions, preparing variance reports for payroll-related discrepancies.
  • Reconciliation & Bookkeeping: Reconcile bank accounts and debit cards for all entities, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in Xero, maintain proper documentation for all transactions, follow up on missing receipts, and handle inter-company transactions and ensure correct reconciliation across entities.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in accounting or a related field, ideally from one of the Big 4 (or Top 10 firm experience) with a focus on tech clients.
  • Bonus if you've got startup experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end month-end close processes.
  • You'll be CA qualified or nearly qualified and passionate about technology, SaaS, and start-ups.

We practice transparent compensation at Tracksuit, focusing on fair pay for our people and their roles. Every person who starts here comes in at the mid-point of the salary band to ensure total equality. Your salary will be supplemented with our comprehensive benefits package and generous ESOP. Our estimated annual salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000.
