The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Compliance Specialist to join our team in Hokitika. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that supply chain operations meet all relevant health and safety, quality, and business process standards. This will involve representing the company in audit environments and verifying compliance with RMP, FSSC, GMP, and internal auditing standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard supply chain compliance by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory governance and control procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective inventory management systems to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
  • Assist the Inventory and Compliance Manager in reporting and reviewing inventory data.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the supply chain team.

Requirements

  • A relevant background in food safety compliance and warehouse health and safety, preferably gained in a large organization.
  • Dairy industry experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cooperatively as part of a small team.
  • A dedication to best practice management processes and systems.
