About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team at Te Puriri o Te Ora. As a Medical Oncologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality medical care to patients with various types of cancer;
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans;
  3. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, haematologists, and other specialists;
  4. Participate in tumor boards and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines;
  5. Engage in educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A FRACP qualification or equivalent in Medical Oncology;
  • Eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council;
  • Alignment with Te Toka Tumai | Auckland's values;
  • A higher degree (MD, PhD) is desirable.
