About the Role

The Community Wellbeing Specialist Advisor position with Auckland Council offers a dynamic opportunity to make a difference to Auckland communities.

You will work with diverse communities and local boards to understand their aspirations and support them in bringing their ideas to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to and leading work that tackles some of the toughest issues facing Auckland communities
  • Giving evidence-based advice to inform elected member priorities and decision-makers
  • Working within an environment that encourages innovation and impact
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Significant experience in community development
  • Excellent relationship building and management skills
  • Ability to work with Maori and Pasifika communities
  • Strong engagement skills with diverse communities

You must also have a strong track record of project managing and delivering collaborative, results-focused work programmes.
