**Job Description**

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Nurse Practitioner to join our unique multi-disciplinary team at the Central Region Eating Disorder Service (CREDS). As an integral part of our close-knit team, you will work collaboratively with partner agencies across the lower North Island in various primary care and community settings.

**About the Role**

  • This exciting new role within CREDS will focus on early intervention for people with eating disorders and strengthen the ability of each Central Region district to enhance outcomes for this cohort.
  • You will support primary care clinicians and other community health providers to apply timely, best practice assessment and intervention to alter the trajectory of those with eating disorders and to minimise the impact of their illness.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Registration as a nurse practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Relevant experience in mental health or primary care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
