About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Therapist (SLT) to join our thriving team in Wellington Regional Hospital. The successful applicant will be required to diagnose and treat adult patients with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
The caseload will include acute adult inpatients with both medical and surgical diagnoses. Experience in videofluoroscopy and/or flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing are desired. The post-holder will represent SLT on multi-disciplinary teams.

Your Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of three years' experience working adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders, preferably in an acute inpatient setting.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to culturally safe practice that supports health equity for our patients and upholds our responsibilities under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Membership of the New Zealand Speech-language Therapy Association (NZSTA).
