The National Institute of Demographic and Economic Analysis (NIDEA) at the University of Waikato is a leading research institute in demography, population economics, population health, and population geography. Our team of researchers are well-known nationally and internationally for their research excellence.
We are seeking an experienced academic researcher to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Population Studies. The successful candidate will have a strong research profile in demography or a related field and a proven track record of teaching and research excellence.
- PhD in a relevant social science discipline (e.g. demography, sociology, population health, geography).
- Strong research profile and teaching experience commensurate with the position applied for.
Successful applicants will be appointed to either a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer role, depending on their qualifications and experience. Salary range: NZ$74,034 to $89,163 per year for Lecturers and NZ$91,710 to $106,995 per year for Senior Lecturers.
