Clinical Leadership Role

This is a unique opportunity for a psychologist to join He Aranga Ake, New Zealand's violent extremism disengagement framework. The role involves working collaboratively with framework participants, their family/whanau, schools, participating agencies, and local communities to develop comprehensive holistic wraparound plans.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver assessments and recommendations to inform operational practice.
- Provide ongoing, individualized, and dynamic psychological assessment and intervention options.
- Lead and support the development of individualized intervention plans for He Aranga Ake participants.
- Ensure the timely delivery of participant intervention plans.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Practical experience working in a clinical role with people, their family/whanau, and wider community to meet underlying needs.
- The ability to think logically and critically evaluate information to determine appropriate advice.
- A strong communication skill set, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
