The Role

The Head of Project Operations, APAC is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing project delivery and clinical operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This role ensures the successful delivery of clinical trials by leading and developing high-performing teams, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and manage project management and clinical operations staff.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure clinical studies are implemented with high quality, within budget, and on time.
  • Financial & Contract Management: Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Customer Focus & Business Development: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, hospitals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader with a Bachelor's degree in a medical, science, or healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate should have minimum 15 years of clinical research experience within a pharmaceutical company or CRO, proven leadership experience managing teams in clinical project management, strong knowledge of ICH/GCP and regulatory requirements, and fluency in Mandarin and English.
