We are seeking a Senior Registrar to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Dunedin Hospital.

About the Unit

Southern Critical Care is a mixed medical and surgical intensive care unit that provides exposure to trauma, neurosurgical, cardiothoracic, and paediatric intensive care cases.

The unit serves as a tertiary referral centre for the lower South Island region and has a busy aeromedical retrieval team involved in inter-hospital and pre-hospital transports.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for general or provisional general registration.
  • Have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience, preferably in anaesthetics or intensive care medicine.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to working in New Zealand and be willing to undergo the EPIC Credentialing process.
