Job Description

This role involves supporting clients with complex care needs, including palliative care, dementia, mental health, and medication management. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  1. Support clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and nutrition
  2. Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  3. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  4. Collaborate with the care team to identify and address client needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Level 3 and Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (recognized in NZ)
  • Experience working with clients with spinal injuries and complex care needs
  • The ability to use hoists and other equipment safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and a bi-cultural approach
  • A full/restricted driver's license
