Waitemata District Hospital provides primary maternity and secondary obstetric services to the diverse West Auckland community. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a 12-bed Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), allowing midwives to gain valuable experience across all aspects of care.

Job Description

We're seeking experienced Registered Midwives to become key members of our team, providing care alongside midwives and consultants without registrar involvement. This unique structure enables midwives to gain diverse experience across antenatal, postnatal, and birthing services within one ward.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need at least two years of experience as a Registered Midwife. Our supportive environment fosters professional growth, with ongoing support and mentorship from our Midwife Educator.
