Salary and Benefits
This role falls within the Registered Nurse Salary Scale, which ranges from $81,683 to $106,739 per annum pro-rata. Job Description
The successful candidate will work in a case management capacity, providing care, support and treatment for individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental illness. Key responsibilities will include delivering focused nursing treatment and provision of effective case management to a specific patient caseload with the possibility of crisis work.
Requirements
- New Zealand Registration with a scope of practice that allows you to work in mental health and APC with Nursing Council New Zealand
- Previous experience working with people with serious mental illness, ideally in a community setting
- A commitment to best practice standards and a model of practice that is inclusive of the seven Real Skills of Let's get real (www.tepou.co.nz)
- A strong sense of 'self' and a demonstrated commitment to working cohesively in a large and dynamic multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
- A current full driver's license
