**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor to join our Sample Reception and Preparation team at Tangram. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our sample management processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Liaise with customers and technical experts to ensure testing requirements are adequate
  • Ensure samples received at the laboratory are logged into our Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) within 24 hours of receipt and with accuracy
  • Prioritize urgent samples when required to meet customer requirements
  • Lead safety initiatives and maintain high safety standards at all times

**Requirements:**

  • Preferably a Tertiary qualification, Bachelor of Science, with a focus on Chemistry or Food Science
  • Previous experience in a Service Delivery/Sample Reception role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Computer literacy (Word, Power BI, Excel, and LIMS)
