What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is seeking an experienced Communications Specialist who can create and deliver internal and external strategies including working proactively with New Zealand media.

What you'll need to be successful - Ō Pūkenga

This senior role requires a strategic thinker with demonstrable internal and external communications experience, a deep understanding of government operations, and a proven track record working with the news media. Your familiarity with government agencies, ministerial processes, and ability to navigate government protocols will be invaluable. You will be commercially astute, creative and have ideally developed your expertise within a combination of private sector and public service organisations.

You'll be responsible for crafting and executing internal and external communication and engagement strategies that deliver measurable outcomes. Your analytical skills will ensure that our communications are audience-centric, achieving impact. As an outstanding communicator, you will quickly establish rapport across our internal and external stakeholders. Your agility and action-oriented approach will enable you to balance various needs and deadlines.
