Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Community Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community health team, you will be working closely with families and whanau to provide advanced nursing practice in a community setting.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist nursing care to children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes. This will involve visiting families regularly to assess their needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support and education.

You will work autonomously within the community, advocating for families, consulting with healthcare professionals, and collaborating with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in a New Zealand healthcare setting.
  • You will hold a Postgraduate Diploma in a specialty nursing practice or be working towards this qualification.
  • You will possess a current APC and NZ drivers' license.
