Marine Mammal Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Mammal Handler to join our team at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our Gentoo and King Penguins.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement animal training programs.
  • Provide nutritional and veterinary care to the penguins.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both staff and animals.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of animal behavior and psychology.
  • Proven experience in animal handling and training.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
