Nurse Practitioner Role

Oceania Group is a leading provider of aged care services in New Zealand, and we are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse with Oceania Group, you will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive high-quality care and services.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at Eversley in Hastings. As a Registered Nurse with Oceania, you will be responsible for coordinating daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others. You will also provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others
- Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively
- Making critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomy
Requirements
- A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
- A commitment to delivering excellent service
- Previous experience using clinical systems
- Desirable: InterRai experience (but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- The capability to coach and mentor other staff
- Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis

- Competitive hourly rate of $36.33 to $51.17 based on experience
