We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Timaru. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to resource management projects, providing expert planning advice, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and contribute to resource management projects;
  • Provide expert planning advice;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Mentor and support team members;
  • Stay ahead of planning legislation and industry trends.

**Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualification in planning, urban development, or a related field;
  • 7+ years' experience in planning/resource management;
  • Strong knowledge of NZ planning legislation;
  • Project management and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and leadership abilities;
  • NZPI membership (or eligibility);
  • A full driver's license.
