Key Responsibilities

The following are some of the key responsibilities associated with this role:
  • Contribute to the delivery efforts of a given delivery squad, delivering solutions that meet Motor Trade Finance's chosen architectures, solution design patterns, and code quality.
  • Support the delivery squad as required, engaging proactively in peer reviews, solution design forums, scrum ceremonies, and celebrations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to security by design, high levels of automated testing, and adherence to agreed architectural principles.
  • Deliver lasting solutions that minimize technical debt and consider long-term maintainability.
  • Gain familiarity with new versions and releases of chosen toolsets.
  • Actively participate in team development, research, design spikes, and other initiatives to continually advance the software development craft at Motor Trade Finance Limited.

Requirements

The following are some of the key requirements for this role:
  • 5+ years of software delivery experience within scrum teams preferred.
  • Proven success within high-performing software delivery teams.
  • Proven success embedding best practice IT principles.
  • Proven success implementing innovative technologies with measurable business outcomes.
  • An energetic, compelling, and highly organized individual with the ability to operate effectively within an Agile structure.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to describe complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Current experience in full stack development (.NET, Node.js or Nest.js, MySQL, Vue.js) and public cloud delivery (specifically Microsoft Azure).
