About the Job
As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist with Head Medical, you will provide expert forensic mental health input across Otago and Southland. The role includes working in a close-knit team, providing inpatient and outpatient forensic care, and conducting court-ordered reports. You will also participate in professional development activities and have opportunities to teach medical students and registrars.

About the Team
Our team provides forensic mental health services across Otago and Southland, including a 15-bed medium secure inpatient ward in Dunedin. We are committed to quality service delivery and development, and we value our senior clinicians who work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold Fellowship with the RANZCP or equivalent and have current registration with the NZ Medical Council. Ideally, you will already have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
