Job Summary
We are seeking a Psychiatrist Registrar to join our team at Dunedin Hospitals. As a trainee psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including emergency psychiatry services, youth specialty services, and specialist addiction service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with experienced consultants, registrars, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in educational programs and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration.
- A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in psychiatry.
- A strong interest in mental health and a commitment to working in New Zealand.
