Job Description

We are seeking experienced Caregivers to join our team at Cedar Manor Care Home in Tauranga. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-first care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities and promoting their well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, treating residents with respect and dignity.
  • Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans.
  • Maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
  • Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, safe home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.

Requirements

  • NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
  • Genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
  • Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Licence to work in NZ.
