Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Governance Coordinator to join our team at ANZ. This role is responsible for coordinating climate-related disclosures, working closely with the Environment Sustainability Governance (ESG) Disclosures and Reporting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information
  • Review and verify climate-related data for accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth disclosure processes
  • Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and departments across the business
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability metrics and targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in climate-related or external reporting
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Audit or assurance skills sufficient to review compliance with policies and procedures
  • Experience in delivery and ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Banking and financial sector experience, understanding of national and international reporting frameworks
