Job Description: As a Registered Midwife at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley, you will be part of a dynamic team providing maternity services in a tertiary-based hospital setting. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality midwifery care to patients
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct routine prenatal check-ups and postnatal care
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- New Zealand registration as a midwife
- Annual Practicing Certificate with the NZ Midwifery Council
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
