Drive Transformational Change as a Release Train Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer to join our team, driving large-scale transformation projects and guiding cross-functional teams toward achieving organizational objectives. With a strong track record of delivering complex projects, you will leverage your expertise to drive business outcomes.

About Our OrganisationWe are part of the New Zealand Government, committed to transforming the country's housing sector by creating homes and communities that allow New Zealanders to thrive. As a Release Train Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving this transformation, working closely with our Value Stream leaders to ensure clear visions and strategies are shared during periods of change.
You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring our leaders and teams on best practices in agile ways of working, driving the organization's strategies and objectives forward. This role is a fixed-term position for 18 months.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop deep subject matter expertise in the purpose and capabilities of each value stream and delivery.
- Apply expert planning and organizing skills to break down complex strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Cultivate strong coaching and mentoring skills, effectively conveying complex concepts and techniques.
- Foster strong interpersonal skills, identifying competing priorities and influencing stakeholders.
- Demonstrate 2-3 years' experience working as a Release Train Engineer or Agile Coach.
- Showcase experience in large-scale transformations within an organization.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of agile practices and relevant Lean, Agile, or Scaled Agile certifications (desirable).
- Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills.
- Maintain strong leadership and influencing skills.
