Job Description

As a Technical Communicator at Vista Group, you will play a key role in creating engaging technical content across multiple formats. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing, writing, and editing a variety of technical documentation, including video tutorials and demonstrations;
  2. Collaborating with product teams to define and implement content strategies that align with product roadmaps and user needs;
  3. Utilizing analytics tools to track user behavior, measure document and video effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement;
  4. Conducting user research and usability testing to ensure that documentation and video content meet user needs;
  5. Managing multiple documentation and video projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in technical writing tools and software (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office Suite);
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS);
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
  • Experience in video capture tools (Loom, Camtasia, Adobe);
  • Able to quickly learn new technologies and concepts;
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy;
  • A passion for creating high-quality technical content.
