Job Description

As a Government Advisor for Ministerial Services, you will be responsible for coordinating ministerial servicing processes, including briefings, aide memoires, and Official Information Act requests. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure these processes are delivered with quality, timeliness, and compliance with procedural standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A basic understanding of government processes, including policy development and implementation
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed
  • A genuine interest in working with and for Pacific communities, with the ability to understand and respect cultural values
  • An understanding of government and public sector processes, or experience in a similar role is highly desired
