Data Network Specialist

**Job Overview**
The role of the Data Network Specialist at Aotea Group involves working closely with the Communications Supervisor to ensure that Telecommunications / Data Cabling related projects and customer services are carried out efficiently and effectively. This includes preparation, planning, compliance, quality control, and communication for daily activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Communications Supervisor(s) to identify project opportunities and develop rapport with existing and new clients.
- To maintain professional relationships with trades staff and other contractors, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard, compliant, safe, effective, and efficient operation.
- To report regularly to the Communications Management Team and Supervisor on progress, highlighting achievement against milestones, potential risks, and opportunities.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
- Abiding by all policies and procedures of Aotea Electric Southern Ltd.
- Effective supervision of allocated Staff and workloads.
- Regular reporting to Communications Supervisor(s) on project/maintenance and Staff performance and outcomes.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
- Developing new customers.
- Ensuring stock levels are kept to a minimum.
- Quality Control as required.
