About the Role
The Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) has vacancies for Casual Mental Health Support Workers mainly based in inpatient units and community settings. This role is part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, which covers the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua and Hutt Valley areas.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Level 4 National Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Support Work (or equivalent qualification)
* Experience working within the area of mental health, preferably in an inpatient setting
* A current work visa or the legal right to work in New Zealand
* The ability to work with a team using a multi-disciplinary approach
* A full and clean Driver's Licence
* Consent to a Police Vetting Check under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014
