**About the Role**

We are seeking a registered mental health professional (Social worker, MH nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist) to join our team. The successful applicant will work collaboratively and supportively with other team members to ensure provision of appropriate assessment and treatment.

The person suitable for this role will also have excellent clinical and case management skills and be comfortable with mental health assessment.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Undertake initial assessments to establish care needs and potential entry to service
- Work with external agencies to improve and support care delivery to young people
- Provide high-quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Identify and manage risk
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships within the team, service, and community agencies

Requirements:

  • Ability to provide high-quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience in risk identification and management
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external providers
  • Team coaching skills and information delivery skills
  • Previous experience in child and adolescent mental health
  • Hold New Zealand registration and/or current practicing certificate
