The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional business team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and further developing business with existing customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain highly productive partner accounts, including PV installers, energy retailers, and network operators.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the organisation of partner accounts.
  • Convey Tesla product roadmap and prepare partners for integration.
  • Anticipate new business opportunities with accounts and identify suitable product offerings to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Be responsible for achieving volume sales within assigned channel(s).
  • Expand sales channels by identifying new partners and supporting contract negotiation.
  • Provide product feedback to technical team regarding fit and applicability of product design and offering.
  • Maintain an understanding of market dynamics across relevant sectors (e.g. utility, commercial & industrial, residential, etc.) and drivers (e.g. policy/regulatory, techno-economics, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 5 years relevant work experience preferred.
  • Professional fluency in English required; proficiency in other regional languages a plus.
  • Demonstrated performance of sales/business development in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience digesting and translating technical requirements and policy/regulatory information for commercial applicability is preferred.
  • Deep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric grid.
