About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team, providing person-centered care to adults with intellectual disabilities in their own homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities to attend community activities and outings
- Help them grow their independence and develop daily living skills
- Manage their daily routines, including personal care and medication
- Pursue their goals, interests, and hobbies
- Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and strong connections with family and community
Requirements:
- Empathy, respect, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
- Experience working with complex support needs
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepovers
- Comfortable using computers and tablets daily
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
- A Full NZ driver's license or willingness to obtain one
What We Offer:
- $23.84 - $29.10 per hour, depending on qualifications
