About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Registered Nurse to lead our Paediatric ward at Tauranga Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage our 22-bed inpatient ward, which offers both acute medical and surgical services.
  • To oversee the Child Assessment Unit (CAU) and Paediatric Day Stay Unit.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated leader to inspire and guide a committed team, while driving positive clinical outcomes and improving patient care.

About You

You will be a dynamic leader, a strong problem solver, and a critical thinker with the following desirable qualities:

  • Experience in acute paediatric hospital nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience and success as a Nurse Coordinator, Leader, or Manager.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to support patients, whanau, and staff.
  • Passionate about leveraging team strengths to foster collaboration, resilience, and excellence in care.
