Obstetrician Gynecologist Leader

Health New Zealand – Lakes is seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist to lead our team of specialists.

About the Role

• This is a permanent, full-time position, with opportunities for part-time employment.
• You will work closely with our existing team of eight specialists, three registrars, and dedicated O & G SHO support.
• The department is accredited by RANZCOG for O & G registrar training.
• We also provide attachments/teaching for 5th and 6th-year medical students from Auckland Medical School.
• You will have access to modern ward areas, ICU, and theatres, as well as a state-of-the-art ambulatory outpatient area for Gynaecology.

About You

• You must be a member of RANZCOG (or equivalent) and hold or be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• You will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our team.
• You will be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
