The Role: We seek an experienced sales professional to join our Construction and Forestry team as a Territory Manager. Key responsibilities include selling John Deere construction and forestry equipment within a designated territory, ensuring timely and accurate sales documentation, and maintaining current product knowledge.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Sell new and used whole goods products in the designated territory
- Keep current on customer business activities and needs
- Develop marketing strategies for the territory
- Prepare customer status reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Sales industry experience with comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Able to build relationships and prospect new accounts
