Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Expert to join our team in Wellington. As a key member of our payroll and HR systems team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP S4 HANA system.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on challenging deliverables and drive real change in our business processes. You will be responsible for leading system enhancements, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and providing expertise in support of payroll development and issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance on payroll and HR systems
  • Leading the delivery of system change and upgrades
  • Facilitating collaboration between internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting the implementation of business process improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as:

  • Proven experience in supporting payroll systems and driving business process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Understanding of current technology trends and directions
