About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team at Te Whatu Ora Lakes. As a midwife with us, you'll be part of a dynamic team that provides a full range of secondary obstetric services. Our maternity unit oversees 1250 births per annum, and we're committed to maintaining clinical skills in accordance with organisational best practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical midwifery services in accordance with the Midwifery Council scope of practise
  • Working as part of our inter-disciplinary clinical teams to deliver primary and secondary maternity services
  • Maintaining clinical skills in accordance with organisational best practice guidelines
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement activities
