Distinguished Family Law Attorney Wanted for K3 Consulting

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solicitor to join our team at K3 Consulting. As a full-service law firm, we pride ourselves on being an industry-leading firm that prioritizes culture and a supportive workplace for all employees.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of post-qualification experience in family law and be confident in their ability to establish long-lasting relationships with clients. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
The role will involve working closely with the Directors on a wide range of matters across family law and wider disputes resolution. This includes property division, regulatory matters, child custody, and spousal maintenance, as well as occasional involvement in litigation, commercial, employment, and private wealth disputes resolution.
As a hands-on position, the successful candidate will engage directly with clients, attend court, and assist directors and associates where required. They will also have the opportunity to develop their experience across a broad range of family disputes and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-end client management, including file management, meeting and taking instruction from clients, and developing the client base
- Reviewing cases, providing sound advice and representation to clients, and managing numerous legal matters
- Resolving complex disputes, drafting court documentation and submissions, and carrying out legal research and opinion work
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an NZ-admitted Solicitor with around 5+ years PQE. Ideally, our ideal candidate will have experience in family law, be confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to establish long-lasting relationships with clients.
In addition, they will need to have excellent grades and drafting skills, be developing or have strong written, legal analysis and advisory skills, and be able to work collaboratively and as part of a high-performing team.
The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
