Compensation Correction Specialist

Archway Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Compensation Correction Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and identifying corrections to current total remuneration packages pay component distribution, historical payroll transactions and current leave balances.
The role will involve conducting thorough audits of leave entitlements, leave taken and overall leave balances to identify issues with compliance with legislation, employment agreements and/or customers leave policies.
Furthermore, the specialist will conduct thorough analysis of historical payroll transactions to identify overpayments, underpayments, or other errors.
Collaboration with Payroll, HR teams and Finance teams will be required to communicate effectively to explain payroll errors and corrections and answer any queries.
The specialist will prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of all payroll discrepancies and the remediation actions taken.

About You

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in payroll, including performing over/underpayment calculations.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to cope under pressure, work within strict timeframes to a high degree of accuracy
  • Calm methodical approach to problems
  • Advanced excel skills
